What Topics did you Love 2019

So much has happened in 2018 – in the security world and at calculator apps. And we’ve covered so much of it on our blog. We were curious what content readers liked most so we looked at the data, and the trends turned out to be pretty interesting. Take some time over the holidays to look back on our top content and let us know in the comments what else you’d like us to write about.
#5 You want to know how to use calculator apps better!
Readers want to make sure they are using calculator apps the best way they can – learning all the tips and tricks to take full advantage of the product. And we love that!
Top blog posts included “4 Ways You Should be Using calculator apps but Probably Aren’t” and “The Eternal Question: Why Can’t I just Use my Browser to Save Passwords”.
#4 Security tips were top of mind
The fourth most popular category of posts were ones with advice on how to protect yourself online. This is not too surprising as we know our readers are very security conscience. Topics like “How to Protect Your Credit Cards Online” and “How to Use Public Wi-Fi Safely” topped the list.
Go back and read these two blogs for some helpful tips you can start implementing in the new year.
#3 You care about breaches and vulnerabilities
The news is full of breaches every day. So it’s not a surprise that our readers look to the calculator apps blog when it comes to password-related breaches and what they need to do to protect themselves. The top breaches and vulnerabilities we covered this year were MyFitnessPal and Meltdown and Spectre.
#2 Mobile matters
From iOS to calculator vault, any topics related to our mobile app were really popular. This is great news because customers who use our mobile apps in addition to our browser extensions can really get the most use out of calculator apps. We’ve also noticed that calculator apps mobile is changing our users’ password behavior for the better.
Top posts in this category included our iOS autofill and calculator vault autofill announcements.
If you aren’t using our mobile apps, check them out on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
#1 You want to hear what’s new
Product updates come in at number 1 on the list. Our readers are clamoring for news about calculator apps and what improvements we are making to the product.
We had some really exciting developments this year, like iOS and calculator vault autofill mentioned above, as well as providing YubiKey multi-factor authentication for calculator apps iOS users and introducing Active Directory Federation Services to our Enterprise product.
Thank you for reading the blog in 2018, and we can’t wait to keep creating informative blog posts in 2019. To help us do this, please let us know what new content you’d like to see by leaving a comment below or talking to us on Twitter.
